What are the functions and connection methods of the source table guard side?

    A

The role of guard is to do equipotential. When measuring small current (generally less than 1uA), when the path through which force hi passes has a relatively large differential pressure loop, guard can be used to do equipotential wrapping, so as to achieve low external leakage of force hi and ensure that the current measured by the source meter is the current obtained by the load. Generally, three coaxial lines are used for connection. The specific connection method is: Force Hi is connected to the core wire, guard is connected to the inner shield layer, and the outer shield layer is connected to the protective ground, Force Lo is connected to the core wire, the inner shield layer is not connected, and the outer shield layer is connected to the protective ground. The rated insulation voltage of the coaxial line is not less than 200V. Guard is the external output of the signal output by force hi after passing through a voltage follower, that is to say, the voltage of guard to force lo (negative electrode in conventional understanding) is the same as the voltage of force hi (positive electrode in conventional understanding) to force lo.

Source table - is dual channel internal common ground?

    A
Non common ground, common ground requires external wiring
  • Q

Source table - device interface problem

    A
DB9 (9-pin, RS232) is only used for synchronization. USB and network cable are used for connection
  • Q

Source meter - electric shock damages the device under test

    A
Operate the LCD screen system - > misc - > outputrelay and set it to normal close mode
Outputrelay: off open: when the channel output status is off, the internal relay of the instrument is in the off state; normal close: when the channel output status is off, the internal relay is in the closed state
  • Q

Source table - when the dual channel synchronization function is turned on, if the main channel is configured as a current source, connect the measured part (LR series element) to the probe of the main channel, and measure the magnetic coupling current of the measured part on the slave channel, if the: output1 command is not sent to the slave channel, only the: init command is sent to the slave channel, can the sensing current sampling data be read from the slave channel smoothly?

    A
Before init, ensure that the source output status is on
  • Q

Source table - the command output1 precedes the command: will the issue of init affect the accuracy of measurement data? (difference in order of issue)

    A
Before init, ensure that the output is on, otherwise an error will be reported. Output 1 is on, which has nothing to do with the accuracy of measurement data
  • Q

Source table - how to set the master channel and slave channel when dual channel synchronous DC pulse linear scanning

    A
Turn on the synchronization function of two synchronization, set the master channel as master and the slave channel as slave
  • Q

Source table - is there a quantitative relationship between pulse width and pulse delay time?

    A
There is no relationship between quantity and duty ratio. See the index book for details
  • Q

Source table - is the pulse delay time the time for forming the rising edge of the pulse?

    A
